Beatrice Laus has built up a discerning fanbase for her bedroom pop-cum-slacker rock tunes since 2017, releasing single after single and EP after short album. From the stomping rockers like Coffee to the heartbreaking acoustic confessionals of Patched Up, Space Cadet and now Fake It Flowers, she is as at home blending grunge with shoegaze, Britpop or midwest emo riffs as she is swaying to glam rock anthems.
A songwriter with a knack for sticky hooks, her music taps into that sense of alienation many experience as teenagers. And it’s that authenticity that has earned her a critical acclaim, supporting label mates the 1975 and Clairo on tour and now headlining her own gigs.
With an authentic grunge sound that doesn’t take itself too seriously, Beabadoobee brings a refreshing twist to modern music. This evening she heads to Belfast for the first date of her UK & Ireland tour with support from London-based NYC rooted band Pretty Sick.
