On February 13, 2018 at approximately 11:18 p.m. officers responded to the 2800 block of southeast colt drive for a burglary in progress. Upon arrival officers contacted a witness who reported that an unknown suspect(s) entered his residence through the front door and removed several items from inside the home. The suspect(s) then fled on foot after breaking into another residence in the neighborhood and stealing several items from inside that residence including cash and jewelry. The reporting party advised that he believed there were two suspects and they were not wearing masks or disguises during their entry into his home
