WOTLK Classic Gold is finally giving a clear legendary character his due using a proper boss fight. This major World of Warcraft character is placed to appear during an encounter over the following Dragonflight dungeon.
Blizzard recently gave players an economic crisis look at Patch 10.1.5, Fractures in Time–the next content update for World of Warcraft. There are plenty of exciting features arriving in the patch, however, the new Dawn in the Infinites mega-dungeon arriving at Dragonflight is in all likelihood the most interesting of all time.
Though this new mega-dungeon is determined to feature important figures from across Warcraft history, one character particularly stands out of the crowd: Grommash Hellscream. The legendary Orc war hero is defined to appear as being the boss with the Time-Lost Battlefield encounter for Alliance players. Unlike his uncorrupted appearance in Warlords of Draenor, this version of Grom features the fel-corrupted green skin fans will recognize from his Warcraft 3 appearance.
Grom is usually a major figure from Warcraft lore. He was the initial Orc to drink the blood of Mannoroth and inflict the curse upon his people, as well as being to blame for slaying Mannoroth and lifting the curse years later. The legendary figure has also been the father of Garrosh Hellscream–one of the most infamous characters in World of Warcraft–and was originally allowed to be the final boss on the Warlords of Draenor expansion prior to the developer shifting gears in nervous about oversaturating the experience with Orc bosses.
Now, it appears to be Grom is finally finding a proper boss fight, and lots of fans couldn’t be more excited. Hellscream is often a fan-favorite who led many Orc fans in cheap wotlk classic gold to try out Arms Warriors only to emulate him. Many hope the encounter will drop the high-res version of Gorehowl–the legendary ax wielded by both Hellscreams–that wasn't made available after it appeared in Warlords of Draenor. Given how coveted the initial iteration of this weapon was in the event it dropped from Karazhan, an item would be a must-have for many people trans mog collectors.
A few players did talk about how the new green-skinned Grom Hellscream model was missing a couple of key details, however. Iconic depictions of the Orc feature him with glowing red eyes, the whole black chin tattoo, rather than the single patch, and deep purple coloration on his pauldron and armor, as opposed to the generic red utilized by the Horde in WoW. These fans would like to see World of Warcraft tweak Grom’s design prior to a mega-dungeon being released, however, they are excited to view the legendary character consider the battlefield in either case.
