The Stars came within two wins of lifting the Stanley Cup.

They battled and fought and scratched their way there but ultimately fell short, losing Game 6 to the 2020 Stanley Cup champion Lightning.

The lo swas a tough one for the Stars, who went down 3-1 in the best-of-seven series before winning Game 5 in double overtime to keep the Stanley Cup Final rolling.

Im proud of this team, this organization for what weve done. At the end of the day, were two wins away from the Stanley Cup."

Tyler Seguin:"Emotions, tough right now. Going into that locker room, that trainers room, and having to wait in line to get in because everyones got ice bags on them, boys are grinding through. I know Tampa was, too. Theyre a great team. Rick Bowne s: "No one expected us to get here, but we believed in ourselves, and we were committed to each other. We had team play, we Caleb Smith Jersey had great camaraderie, great leadership and we pushed this team as far as it could get. We came up a little bit short but I'm very, very proud to be their coach. I'm very proud of the players, very proud of the organization, and there arestill better days ahead for us but it was, it was a great experience. I enjoyed it, enjoyed getting in here, helping them get here, and it's unfortunate we came up short. But I know we got as much out of this team as we po sibly could. And from a coaching perspective, that's all you can ask."

Klingberg: "Were brothers. Were having a great time together, and obviously, this one stings a lot. It hurts. It hurts a lot. This is the dream to play on the biggest stage in the world, and you end up losing. It stings. Its hurting."
