What Is Moissanite?
Originally discovered in a meteor crater by Dr. Henri Moissan, moissanite is one of the rarest natural minerals on Earth. Today, it is grown in labs for ethical sourcing and environmental sustainability.
In many ways, moissanite outperforms diamond. It ranks 9.25 on the Mohs hardness scale (diamonds are 10) and exhibits even more fire and brilliance. It doesn’t cloud over time and is virtually indistinguishable from diamond to the naked eye.
