Crafting Methods in POE 2
POE 2 introduces several methods of crafting, each catering to Path of Exile 2 Currency different playstyles and goals. Here are the most prominent methods:

a) Basic Crafting (Essence & Currency Mods)
This method focuses on modifying base items using Essences and Crafting Currency. These are similar to the systems in POE 1, but with new improvements and options.

Essence Crafting: As mentioned earlier, Essences are used to guarantee a certain modifier on an item. For example, you can use an Essence of Fire to guarantee that the item will roll a fire damage mod. b) Imprinting and Mod Combination
One of the most exciting features of POE 2’s crafting system is the ability to imprint mods onto an item and combine them in new ways.

Imprinting Mods: This allows you to copy specific mods from one item to another. You can transfer high-value affixes (such as +1 to all fire skills or increased elemental damage) onto a different item base. Imprinting allows you to preserve powerful mods while changing the item base to something more suitable for your build.

Mod Combining: In POE 2, you’ll also be able to combine multiple mods into a single item. For instance, you could potentially combine two separate damage increases into one powerful item, rather than just choosing one modifier.

c) Crafting with Divine Shards
POE 2 introduces Divine Shards as a new crafting material. These shards let you modify specific item stats within a set range. For example:

Shards for Stat Ranges: You can use Divine Shards to reroll the value of a stat (such as the amount of attack speed or life regeneration) within a specific range, giving you greater control over how the stats behave.

Shards for Stat Modifications: If an item has multiple tiers of a stat (like increased physical damage), you can use Divine Shards to push that modifier to the top tier or reroll it to something more useful.

d) The Crafting Bench: Upgrades & New Recipes
The Crafting Bench is a central part of crafting in POE 2, and it has undergone significant improvements. Here’s how it works:

Upgrades to the Crafting Bench: As you progress through the game, you’ll gain the ability to upgrade your Crafting Bench to unlock new crafting recipes. This system allows you to modify more powerful gear and craft items with better base stats.

Crafting Bench Recipes: You can now collect recipes that enable you to craft specific unique mods for your gear. For instance, you might obtain a recipe that lets you apply specific elemental resistances or immunity to curses to your armor.

These upgrades give you access to higher-level mods and allow you to cheap POE 2 Exalted Orbs craft game-changing equipment once you’ve reached the appropriate progression.
