NBA 2K22 Season 5 has been released on Friday, February 25, 2022. The Season 5 update, called Power Within, includes updates to MyCAREER, MyTEAM, and Dynamic Ratings. Since we've already received a patch this week in preparation for the Season 5 gameplay, and while the patch may not be as big as usual, NBA 2K's major modes and features are scheduled for a lot of tweaks and updates.

Season 5: Power Within will be another historic season for MyTEAM, with even more new players joining us and the conclusion of our two $250,000 MyTEAM Unlimited tournaments. Season 5 of MyTEAM will also return a dynamic scorecard, new domination levels, new coaches, completed anime-themed murals, and the first 99 overall Dark Matters to reach level 40 will receive NBA 2K MT.

Season 5 brings NBA 2K22's MyTEAM Final Base Pack featuring all 30 existing NBA teams with over 400 new player cards. You can expect the ratings of these cards to permanently affect the Heirs MyTEAM card with each player's actual performance.
