Different Types of Tube Bending
Tube Bending is a manufacturing method in which a bending force is applied to sheet metal to plastically deform it into complex components. There are many different types of stainless tube bending such as Press Bending, Roll Bending, Rotary Draw Bending, and Mandrel Tube Bending. By flanging a sheet metal part between a punch and die that are chosen for the specific part geometry, the plate is pushed to the intended angle and Tube bending radius. It is common practice to express a material's bendability as the minimal bending radius without failure. The most regular types of bend shapes are coil bends, U bends, L bends, and S bends. Tubes have more increased structural virtue as likened to other metal shapes as we all know straight tubes cannot be utilized for stair railings, furniture frames, handles, etc.
