Does Air France allows pets in the cabin, but only small cats, dogs, and household birds—as long as they meet specific size and weight criteria. The total combined weight of the pet plus carrier must not exceed 8 kg (17.6 lb). The carrier must be soft-sided, well-ventilated, leak-proof, and able to fit comfortably under the seat in front of you (about 46 × 28 × 24 cm) Passengers must reserve cabin pet travel in advance, as space is limited. Fees vary by route but typically start from €70 within France, and higher for international flights .A valid health certificate, vaccination proof, and compliance with transit/destination regulations are also required. Service dogs are exceptions—they can fly in the cabin free of charge with proper documentation and advance notice.
