The American Lifeguard Association® offers training to become a certified lifeguard through our blended program. The employers are to assess your skills and encourage you to continue practicing the skills through in-service training. With our program, after completing the online portion of our course, you will be issued a national two-year certification in lifeguarding, CPR/AED, and First Aid. Current standards require that employers evaluate the skills of all candidates before hiring regardless of the issuing entity.
