5182 Aluminum sheet plate belongs to Al-Mg series alloy, Mg content can reach 4-5%, is a kind of anti-rust aluminum with a wide range of uses, which has good corrosion resistance, excellent weldability, good cold workability, and medium strength. It is widely used in automobile, shipbuilding, construction and industry. The performance of 5182 aluminum plate is similar to 5A02, because the magnesium content is slightly higher than 5A02, and a small amount of silicon is added, the weldability is better than 5A02; Also, the tensile strength and yield strength of 5182 aluminum sheet are slightly better than 5052 and 5083 aluminum alloys. Due to a small amount of Si is added, the welding performance of 5182 aluminum plate is very good with gas welding, argon arc welding, spot welding and seam welding.
