Slayer is a great way to improve your melee skills, If you're thinking of runescape gold performing training, you should consider it. Its a nice way to break up the monotony of training with a single monster. Someone who doesn't have 85 Slayer, Abby whips are approximately 1 in 540, not more than 125 kills while camping. And the biggest profit from Slayer comes from not the large drops, it's all those little ones that add up over time . Along with clues, if you are doing it and you're clever with your herb runs in between tasks.

Well your right, I don't have the 85-slayer. But, that doesn't mean I don't know something about it. There have been reports of having no whip drop in 4-6 hours of relentless slaying. What's the truth is that whips are one of the rare drops. Any help website you visit will mention the whip as one of them.

The chances of getting a whip within a 75-125 range is possible although not tipacal. it is possible. You stand a better possibility of getting it within the range of 1-540 kills. However, it is possible to not see one. If you inquire about the reasons why people train slayers it's nearly always for the big drops. For instance, whips made from abby deamons, sol from ice strykewyrms etc, and so on.

Although they may be able to slay for those drops , the majority of the revenue won't come from them especially when it comes to ice wyrms. which have incredible drops. the SOL is merely a bonus. The 1/540 figure is from the average dropping (mite be 520, can't remember) but it's a result of players who report how many kills are required to get a whip, yes its possible to get into your range, however that isnt the drop rate.

Helm of Neitiznot is a fantastic balanced helm, go for the helm of Torag or Verac if you're looking for more defensive stats or Fighter hat to increase offensive stats (about identical stats like a Rune full helm, but bonuses for three attack types: Stab, Slash and Crush attack styles)

Guthans Plate - Good, Fighter torso gives a nice Strength bonus so it's a good choice in case you're not able to afford Bandos however I'm still not certain of this, but I'm convinced that torag's (and Dharok's) provides slightly better defense and is worth 650kish so it's worth considering.

Your current setup works fine However, I'd suggest an option that doesn't diminish. Dragon Platelegs together with Fighter Torso, for example. Dragon Platelegs aren't too costly as well as buy cheap rs gold they're not too expensive, and Fighter Torso only costs a couple of hours to get. Or Bandos armour if you're a very wealthy player.
