Battery for the doorbell should be charged.
Find the release pin that comes with your Arlo Essential Video Doorbell, which is wire-free.
In the release aperture at the top of the doorbell mount, insert the release pin.
In an up-and-out motion, remove the doorbell from the mount.
Bring the doorbell inside with you.
The doorbell's battery should be removed.
