I'm nearly done The Void Stares Back OSRS GP quest, but there's just one problem: The Pest Queen... I've made it through four attempts, and so far this is an overview. Attempt 1: D platelegs, d'hide top, neitz helm, d def, korasi sword. Inv: 5 praypots, rest rock tails. Got the Pest Queen to half way, before I got out of the spec, and was forced to port. Two attempts: Same armour. Inv: 5 pray pot, super str pot, ambush scrolls, spirit Kyatt, rocktails.

I was able to get the Pest Queen down to half once more, but had issues using Kyatt however, it didn't want to pounce when specified bar was clicked. Died due to lagg. Third attempt: D'hide top and legs Other armour is the same. Inv: 5 sara brews, 4 super restores, ambush scrolls, Kyatt.

Pest Queen down to half, which is not in line with the specs attempted to get the defilers stuck behind Queen, ended up getting the defilers' property. The defilers were ejected. Try 4: The same as attempt 3. Inv: Praypots, the rocks and Kyatt. Didn't have enough food @ 3/4 Queen health. Had trouble locating a defiler, killed three rangers.

I have 80 attack and an 83 str (almost 84), 80 defence. So what I'd like to be aware of is an alternative to 80+ herblore, for me to restore the spec attack to sword? Is using a tort as more food a better idea than spirirt kyatt, because Kyatt is prone to miss when it is pounced, and isn't keen to pounce when I select the special attack button.

Do you think a bunyip is a good cheap OSRS GP alternative? Have you tried maging/ranging the Queen (I already have 90 mage, 77 % range)? What is the most effective armour combo? (Karils is an option for me) Are there any safespots of the Queen's start so I can focus on the defilers? Is the Queen weak to attack, slash or crush? I'm sure there are a lot of questions, but I'd love to have that sword now! Thanks for all your assistance.
