Phoodle is a word-guessing game designed for foodies. Players are challenged to find a five-letter word connected to food in six attempts or less. Wordle, a popular online puzzle phoodle game, inspired the game, which has a food theme. The game is available for free online. There is a daily puzzle in the game that can only be performed once every day. In the input area, the player must type a five-letter word and press enter. The game will then provide feedback on the word in the form of colored squares:
• A green square indicates that the letter is in the proper place in the word.
• A yellow square indicates that the letter is present in the word but is not in the proper position.
• A gray square indicates that the letter is not present in the term.
The player must use this feedback to predict the word in six or fewer attempts. If the player correctly guesses the word, they will see a message that says "You got it!" as well as a series of emojis that they can copy and share with others. If the player reaches the end of their attempts, they will see a notice that says "Sorry, you didn't get it." and the correct word.
• Consider common food words: The foodle game makes use of words relating to food, such as ingredients, dishes, cuisines, and so forth. The player should conceive of common five-letter food words and test them out.
• Apply the process of elimination: Because the game provides feedback on each letter in the word, the player should utilize this knowledge to delete letters that aren't in the word or aren't in the correct location. The player should also keep track of the letters they've already used and try not to use them again.
• Use logic and deduction: The game has some rules and patterns that the player can use to narrow down the choices. For instance, if the first letter is green, it must match the first letter in the word. If two letters are yellow, they must be exchanged in order to be in the correct place. A letter that is gray cannot be utilized in any other position.
