On today (January 5,) Nex is unleashed on OSRS gold after 90 percent of the players voted to approve the new update. It allows players to join with clans of up around 80 players to take on the boss. As per the official announcement, Nex could also be battled solo in a private instance. Instances are freed after completing this Hard Combat Achievements tier, following which you can purchase an instance to get 100,000 GP for each entry. The higher Combat Achievement tiers lower this cost.

Dwelling in The Ancient Prison beneath the God Wars Dungeon, Nex can only be reached once you have successfully completed the Desert Treasure quest and a mini-quest that unlocks this Frozen Door. This access point is iced-up and has been in existence since the time that the Dungeon was opened but been locked up, to this point! After entering the Prison they must thrash through a huge army (featuring Spiritual Warriors, Mages, Rangers, and Blood Reavers) before reaching Nex herself.

In the end, defeating Nex could net gamers valuable rewards, such as the Ancient Godsword, Zaryte crossbow and the legendary Torva armor set and more. Every participant in the game has a chance of obtaining one of a kind item in exchange for higher-performing players winning more valuable items.

The suggested level requirements to take on Nex are 70 ranged, 70% Strength, 70 Agility, 70 Hitpoints. The current version of Nex does not allow players to cast Monster Examine on Nex. If they attempt to do so and fail, a message will be displayed in the chat of the game saying "You can't find out their stats".

The RS gold General is expected to appear in the upcoming Shattered Relics League, which begins in RSC on January 19 and will run until March 2 following a delayed until 2021.
