But there are ways to improve your chances of getting into the Backrooms. One way is to look for a "entrance." These are errors in the real world that lead to the Backrooms, but they happen very rarely. Such entrances include:Walls that are a little bit darker than usual or don't seem to cast shadows.

Doors that were not there before and look like they don't belong.

There are some places that make people feel uneasy or strange.

If you have found an entrance to the Backrooms, which is very unlikely, you should not go near it unless you are ready. Once you have the things you need to stay alive, just walk into the discolored wall or through the door that doesn't belong there. Some people may reach the Backrooms on their first try by accident, while others may need hundreds or even thousands of tries. It all comes down to luck, or rather, bad luck.

If you have enough luck (or bad luck) to get to the Backrooms, you'll probably end up in Level 0. On very rare occasions, people have said that they started out in Level 1 or Level 2.

Accepting Your Lot

If you find yourself in the Backrooms by accident, the first thing you need to do is stay calm. People lose their senses when they panic, like their sense of direction, which could cause them to get lost. Panicking can also make noise, which could bring in people they don't want. The second thing you need to do is take note of your surroundings to figure out which level you are in. Every time you go to a new place in the Backrooms, you should do this. The third thing you need to do is accept that you are now in the Backrooms and are very unlikely to ever get back home. Accepting this will help a person stay focused on the task at hand, which is to stay alive, instead of trying to get back home and wearing themselves out. Also, try to stay close to where you started because going to other levels can be dangerous. Before you can start your journey through the Backrooms, you have to go through a lot of dangerous levels and strange dangers.
