Taylor Hall has been fined $5,000, the maximum fine allowed under the NHL's Collective Bargaining Agreement, for punching Maple Leafs defenseman Ilya Lyubushkin during Tuesday's game, the NHL's Department Anfernee Jennings Jerseys of Player Safety announced on Wednesday.

This is the second time Hall has been fined during his career. He was previously fined $5,000 in 2018 for boarding Kyle Okposo. He was also suspended in 2013 for two games for kneeing Cal Clutterbuck.
Bruins coach Bruce Ca sidy insinuated after the game that had Lyubushkin been called for his hit, the retaliation would have been avoided from Hall.
"Taylor got upset and rightfully so. David Pastrnak had a hard, clean hit earlier in the game. We were told nobody likes to receive a hit like that and we got the same hit on Hall . (The officials) are communicating to us, and they have to back up their standard. If thats their Jalen Mills Jerseys standard then thats their standard, and its entirely up to them. The fine created some controversy in the NHL community, as some compared Hall's punch to Lyubushkin to of Steve Moore.
Considering Bertuzzi had hunted down Moore after he failed to engaged in a fight, grabbed him by the jersey to hit him, then used his stick to drive Moore's face into the ice, knocking him out unconscious, it's a real stretch to compare the two scenarios.
The Bertuzzi incident ended Moore's hockey career Matt Light Jerseys , while he talked to Lyubushkin after the game and he seemed like he was "going to be OK."
The Maple Leafs won the emotional affair, 6-4.
