They were married on 29 September 2018 in Godalming, Surrey, then a reception in the beautiful, family-owned, around the border of Surrey and West Sussex.
"We loved Matt's photographs the first time we had them. He is friendly, simple to deal with, and completely unobtrusive throughout the day, whilst capturing some really beautiful candid shots, that was exactly what we wanted."
"Matt also knew the venue and also the gardens very well, therefore we got some wonderful shots from the two people as well. He also stayed considerably longer than we expected him to, to ensure that he didn't lose out on making sure that the evening festivities were caught on film too! We have had a lot of compliments on the photos from your friends and family following the day. We cannot recommend Matt highly enough."
To choose her wedding dress, Sian headed to in London, where she discovered an ideal graceful design by, having a simple, bateau neckline, waist-cinching belt, and ingeniously removable over-skirt.
"After trying on numerous different styles, when I put this dress on, I just loved it! The removable over-skirt resulted in me having an amazing train for walking on the aisle, however, I was in a position to remove it to bop in the evening without worrying that individuals would get up on my dress, or it would be overweight and get in the manner."
The bridesmaids looked wonderful in blush pink bridesmaid dresses that they wore using their selection of footwear, and fresh flowers in their hair.
Lovely autumnal colors were also contained in the beautifully romantic floral arrangements. The bridesmaids carried bouquets of ivory roses and calla lilies, with greenery and seasonal berries, whilst Sian carried a striking, fiery arrangement, which included wonderful two-tone coral and pink Miss Piggy roses. Old ski boots owned by Marcus were full of flowers, and placed underneath the seating plan, and also the lovely, timber-framed, paneled reception room was decorated with increased blooms in gorgeous shades of orange, red, crimson, and pink – garlands around the top table and over the mantelpiece, table centerpieces and petite vases dotted around the room.
The wonderful wedding feast was supplied by caterers, and there is a lovely semi-naked cake, too, baked by Rachel Simmons.
"We made a decision to have a semi-naked cake after much debate on log boards to reflect our slight alpine theme, decorated with edible flowers and fruit that complemented the autumnal colors we'd chosen for the flowers."
"It is hard to select a specific favorite part of your day. I loved the vehicle journey towards the church with my father and seeing all of the smiling faces of our family and friends when I walked into the church. Walking on the steps from the church being showered by our guests (who have been lining both sides) with rose petals that were diligently collected, dried, and beautifully packed by Marcus' mum."
Words of Wedded Wisdom
"I would advise any wedding couple to take time for you to enjoy it and take everything in – it was great advice which was given to me by a good friend. The day goes so quickly, so I would suggest considering a moment for the two of you simply to absorb everything. It isn't often that you will get all your favorite people together in one location."
"The other suggestion that I would offer does not get too stressed should you can't get everything done that you had planned. Chances are that your friends and relatives won't notice, they're just excited to become there using the two of you!"
