Grinding Gear Games recently released Patch 2.06 of the Path of Exile update, this time adding the Kirac’s Vault Pass to the store. Players can prepare enough POE Currency in advance to get more rewards. Here are some of the update notes that players can learn about.
Kirac’s Vault Pass is now enabled for PlayStation. Players can access it through the Atlas UI or in Karui Shores. If players are wondering what’s included in this Vault Pass, here’s a rundown:
Players can purchase passes that unlock access to Kirac’s Vault, and complete Atlas objectives to earn up to eight unique skins for unique items. After defeating Kitava, players will receive their first reward when entering Karui Shores. As they explore Atlas, they’ll earn additional rewards by completing multiple sets of map bonus objectives. If players complete the bonus objectives on all 117 maps, they will receive all 8 available bonuses.
Not only do these unique item skins provide alternative looks to popular end-game items, they also visually interact with players’ gameplay in new ways. For example, the Bloodthirsty Headhunter skin will cause the skulls of rare enemies to explode when you steal their abilities. When blocking, the Indomitable Aegis Aurora skin emits an energy shield. The Malevolent Watcher’s Eye skin will literally watch players as they plan their builds.
To be clear, the unique item skins available to players are purely cosmetic and do not convey any game advantage. They still need to get the actual unique items that they apply. Players can follow POECurrency for latest news, and they can also buy enough POE Currency on it to boost their power.
